About Debbie
Debbie Crews Ketterling, Ph.D. is a neuroscientist, Founder of Opti Brain and the Co-Director of Better Your Best. With a rich history spanning 35+ years of both research and applied Sports Psychology, Debbie has created systems designed to improve performance in a variety of arenas. In preparation for launching the Opti Brain products, she has collected an immense amount of data from golfers, archers, and shooters as well as the special needs population (ADHD, Autism). Over time, her work has expanded to include bowling, basketball, baseball, education, and the military.
Recognized by many as top in her field, she has garnered significant acclaim in the form of awards, invitations to speak, and as a consultant for cutting edge research and application. Additionally, she is sought after for performance coaching (Sports Psychology) by high ranking athletes in many sports.
Debbie's science accolades include such accomplishments as being Chair of the
World Scientific Congress of Golf which is the only research organization for golf across the world, receiving the Sport Psychology Dissertation of the Year Award from both the American Psychological Association and the Sport Psychology Academy, and many more. Her credibility in this arena is further supported by receiving patents for both an original golf putter design and the Opti Brain feedback training system.
A respected teacher, Debbie is a Master Professional for Golf who assisted with the development of the Teacher Education Program for the LPGA and has received a number of awards including but not limited to: LPGA Ellen Griffin Excellence in Teaching, and LPGA Hall of fame.Currently, Debbie is preparing future champions through her work with the Arizona State University Golf teams and private practice with athletes from a number of sports.
